While the fool's career lasted only a few years, they were able to attract many fans during their short time together due to performances in Europe and North America.
the fool started their career with a live in Meguro on April 29, 2009. Their debut maxi-single Hydra came out several months later on September 30th. Soon after, they embarked on their LIVE Tour'09~Go with Crazy's crew~, which ended on December 18th.
In early 2010, their song GOD BLESS YOU was featured on the omnibus album Secret 9BALL, and they participated in promotional events for its release in Shinjuku, Osaka and Nagoya. On April 29th the band celebrated their first anniversary with a concert in Meguro, where their career began. Then in May, they released their second maxi-single, Go motherfucker— their first release under the new label Starwave Records.
That year, they also started touring clubs and live houses with their LIVE tour 2010 ~Motherfucker a GO GO~. The tour final, Perfect Motherfuckers, born from TOKYO, was held in Meguro on July 2nd.
Beginning at the end of July, the young band played two lives in Germany and the Netherlands together with labelmates Luzmelt. While their first attempt to play in Greece failed due to organizational issues, the two successful shows gave the band a chance to perform before European audiences, greatly improving their international exposure.
the fool continued to expand their fanbase overseas in May 2011, with appearances at two Canadian anime conventions: Calgary‘s Otafest and Toronto’s Anime North. 2011 also saw the release of their third single, Salamander, on April 6th. The single was limited to 1,000 copies and sold only in selected stores.
In fall 2011, the fool embarked on a tour of Europe that took them to Belgium, Italy, France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Germany.
Unfortunately, in 2012 the band announced that guitarist TACA intended to withdraw from the fool. The other members decided that it would be too difficult to continue without him, and the band ceased activities after their live at Ikebukuro Black Hole on October 27th.
While that seemed like it would be the end for the fool, in 2013, vocalist Gunji released a single called JOKER under the name and returned to Europe for a tour with ADAPTER。 called Digital Brothers invade to Euro.
Things went quiet for the fool once again soon afterwards, however, and whether Gunji will continue to perform under the name or move on to another project remains to be seen.
The other members have also continued making music. Goo joined a band called colobocc in 2012, but left the next year. TACA, on the other hand, is playing with Raptor 9, a band consisting mainly of ex-members of BLACK////RUN.
