KAGERO

You might not think of punk and jazz as genres that belong together, but the members of this Japanese quartet are eager to prove you wrong. KAGERO play instrumental jazz with all the attitude and energy of hardcore, often with a slightly sinister edge.

While KAGERO are still a fairly underground act, their unique sound has attracted fans from jazz, rock and punk circles both in their home country and overseas. They've built up a loyal following over the years, and even embarked on two short US tours in 2013 and 2015.
