Takayoshi Ohmura

Guitar prodigy Takayoshi Ohmura started his solo career aged just 21, releasing his star-studded debut mini-album NOWHERE TO GO in 2004. Two further solo releases followed before Ohmura had his first big break in 2008, when ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman recruited him for his live band.

Ohmura has proven his versatility by playing in several bands on both sides of the rock-metal divide, including hard rock quartet C4, symphonic metal band LIV MOON and gothic supergroup UROBOROS. He came to worldwide attention in 2014 as part of the Kami Band, BABYMETAL’s backing band.
