Starting out with a firm base in the jazz scene, Suh Young Eun became known in the mainstream for her meoldic songs and mellow sounds. Her success has continued to grow throughout Korea and she is now a regular feature in the Korean charts.
She is somewhat unique in the modern pop music scene in that she chooses not to concentrate on her appearance but mainly bases her music around her lyrics, which are what have made her a famous and respected musician.
