Rock veteran
Kenichi Asai will release a new album titled
BLOOD SHIFT on September 25th.
While
Asai released an album with his band
KENICHI ASAI & THE INTERCHANGE KILLS in 2017, this will be his first full-length album as a solo artist in about five years. It follows 2014's
Nancy.
The album will be available in a CD-only regular edition and a CD+DVD limited edition, although details on the specific contents of each version have not been revealed just yet.
Asai will support the new release with a tour titled
BLOOD SHIFT TOUR 2019 that will kick off on October 6th. The final date will be held at Mynavi BLITZ Akasaka on November 19th.
Asai just released a solo single titled
Metallic Mercedes in May. It is available for streaming and download overseas via platforms like
iTunes / Apple Music and
Spotify.
