AXBITES Announce Reunion
AXBITES, a heavy metal band featuring YAMA-B, will play a reunion show on September 7th.
Heavy metal band AXBITES will reunite on September 7th to mark their sixteenth anniversary.
The one-man live AXB RESTART will be held at Tokyo's Meguro Live Station. The event will also see the release of live-limited single Eiyu no Joken. Hard rock trio aphasia and heavy metal band Zygote will also perform.
AXBITES was formed back in 2003 while vocalist YAMA-B was still fronting GALNERYUS. His former GALNERYUS bandmate, bassist Tsui, joined in 2007. Guitarist IZO followed in 2008, and the group stopped touring in 2011. They've been inactive since a one-man live in 2013.
YAMA-B has since worked on various projects, most recently as one half of power metal duo Iron Spawn with Spanish guitarist Dani Rios. Meanwhile, in 2014, Tsui and drummer ANTON formed heavy metal trio AREDREDS with singer REINO. Remarkably, they've never recruited a full-time guitarist.
You can hear the demo version of Eiyu no Joken below.
