yazzmad's Naoki Unveils New Solo Project
Visual rock vocalist Naoki's new project dove dove dove's debut single dropped on December 21st.
Naoki, the former vocalist of visual rock band yazzmad, has unveiled a new solo project named dove dove dove.
The project's debut single Sadgaze was released digitally on December 21st. This will be followed sometime in spring by an as-yet-untitled mini-album. Session musicians on Sadgaze include Naoki's ex-yazzmad bandmate Takeki, now a guitarist with Bräymen and ex-otoiro bassist Hiroki Oinuma.
Naoki has been a regular presence in the visual kei scene for nearly two decades. He first came to notice in 2004 with otoiro, he later fronted SHAGIRL before co-founding yazzmad in 2010. The latter disbanded in 2015.
Sadgaze is available for streaming worldwide via Apple Music.
