THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS vocalist KYONO released a new digital single today.
Titled THE WAY, the song is a collaboration with Dragon Ash frontman Kj. While KYONO released a solo album called YOAKE in 2018 and he has put out a wide variety of works with other projects such as WAGDUG FUTURISTIC UNITY and !!!KYONO+DJBAKU!!!, this is his first digital single under his own name.
KYONO wrote the music and lyrics for the track, hoping to help give people the courage to take their next step forward during the difficult circumstances caused by the coronavirus and other calamities. The song is also being used as an ending
theme for the TBS show "Super Soccer".

A longtime fan of THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS, Kj collaborated with bassist Takeshi Ueda's solo project AA= on a digital single called M SPECIES in 2015 and also participated in his AA=AiD charity project,
but this is his first collaboration with KYONO. In a comment about the single, he stated that he was honoured to be asked, and that being directed in the studio by KYONO felt a bit like going golfing with
Tiger Woods.
