Pop trio THREE1989 released a new digital single today.
Aiiro is the ending theme for the second season of the TV drama “kiss×kiss×kiss~LOVE ii SHOWER~,” which began broadcasting on TV Tokyo on November 2nd.
“kiss×kiss×kiss~LOVE ii SHOWER~” is a series created for broadcast television by TV Tokyo and avex that is based on the successful show "kiss×kiss×kiss", which was originally shown on dTV®.
The song is closely based on the TV series itself, as the band members read its script before writing the lyrics and composing the music. It was arranged by kei matsuura, who worked with the band early on in their career. Each episode
of the TV show tells a different story, and the song’s lyrics are said to “express the diversity of modern romance through the conceptual use of ‘color’, using as few sounds as possible and featuring a piano melody that shines from the intro, resulting
in a mellow love song."
