The label YG Entertainment have begun a public campaign called
WITH. The campaign's purpose is to raise funds for various social welfare foundations, youth study programs, and to help children with impaired hearing.
WITH's first project is
Tree of Hope, which begun on April 22nd and aims to raise 10 million won. The money will be raised through YG Entertainment's online store
YGE Shop, where you can purchase 'leaves'. Each 'leaf' costs 1,000 won (approximately $1us). When 10 million won (or more) has been raised, YG Entertainment will match the amount, and 20 million won will be donated to Bundang Province Seoul University Hospital, where it will be used to cover the costs of operations on deaf children.
YG Entertainment have also said that a portion of profits from all of their artists' albums, products and concerts will also be donated.
