During Summer 2000, drummer Yuki and vocalist Hina, two ex-members of the band AZALEA joined with Mutsuki, former bassist of the short lived band Crucified along with erina former guitarist of luciel, to form Sarii.
The band released their first demo tape kowareta omocha in August 2000, which was followed soon after by a second demo tape Gyakutai Nikki in November (limited to 666 copies only.) A third and final demo tape, Waisetsu Therapy, was released in June 2001 and limited to 999 copies before the band released their one and only official 3 track maxi-single, abnormal.
It was soon after that the band stopped activities for a while before returning with a new band name, SCHELLEN. The newly reformed band made several changes, including bassist Mutsuki changing his name to Kichi as well as the addition of a new producer Izumi (guitarist of the group AION). The band also modified their style from typical stylish visual kei to a much more harder style.
The newly formed SCHELLEN released only a single self-titled VHS tape of PV's before ceasing activities completely. Although some of their earlier songs were featured on a number of compilations, including B.J.maniac.
After the breakup of the band, Hina and erina formed the short lived band CHELSEA before erina moved on to join hurts. Yuki joined the band emmuree but there is little information about Kichi's musical career after the break up of SCHELLEN.
