NOi'X

The year 1998 thrived with newcomers to the visual kei scene but unfortunately not many of them had the chance to gain wider recognition. One of the bands which formed in that period was NOISY CROWDS. A punk influenced visual kei band was nothing particularly new to the scene, but nevertheless their music was not plain generic and thanks to that they were signed to Key Party. Soon afterward, they changed their name to NOi'X and also changed their image - for the better.

The first album, CROiX, was released in August 1998 and contained a total of eleven tracks. Despite the good start, NOi'X still was not really popular. It didn't discourage them though, and they continued to play lives, often participating in Key Party events. A year passed, and then in November 1999 the band finally released a second album, Deluge, which turned out to be much more dynamic than their first one. Exactly a month later their VHS Flowers appeared in stores.

The future was looking bright, but all good things must come to an end (sometimes very prematurely), and so did they. June 30, 2000 witnessed the release of their last CD, Ende Noi'. However, only two tracks on the album were by NOi'X, and the other songs were contributed by other bands on the label.

The reason for their break up is unknown, but fortunately, the end of the band wasn't the last that we heard from its members. Except for LUCCA, all of them went on to create new bands, though the majority of these also didn't last long. SHINA started moll'e node but is currently part of Dangan shoujo. JOE-NOSUKE and RYOTA started the band Jezebel, which also disbanded after two years of activities. JOE-NOSUKE then joined MATHONY, but the status of that band seems uncertain.
