Kamikaze Boyz started in summer 2004 and consisted of Tetora (former Ma'die Kusse and Usagi) on vocals, Keiji-irikawa (former RISK, Loz'a≠Veria, Mei) on guitar, Syuri on bass and Shingo (former Loz'a≠Veria, Mei) on drums.
In August they performed their first concert and in the following months they released three singles, having been signed to the Loop Ash label. All the songs from the singles were featured on their first mini-album, Heisei jun koi kashuu, which was released in April 2005. Like many other bands new to the scene, Kamikaze boys regularly performed live to gain recognition and more fans.
After the release of two additional singles in the summer of 2005, they had their first one-man concert on August 23rd called boyz&girlz. Their touring continued, and as a result, their second and third one-man concerts in December were both totally sold out, which was quite a feat for such a new band. During this time, Keiji-irikawa and Shingo were both also playing for ISABELLE, a band of two Psycho le Cému members.
2006 started just as busy as the previous year and Kamikaze Boyz participated in a lot of events, and released two new singles, Boyz and Girls in March and April respectively. Their first album, Dantou Missile, was released in July and the band started on a short tour, with concerts in July and August. It was unfortunately during this tour that it was announced that after the one-man tour final on August 23rd, all members except for vocalist Tetora would leave the band. At first it seemed that Tetora would continue the band on his own, however this plan fell through and Kamikaze Boyz was put on an indefinite hiatus.
Keiji and Shingo, who had been a part of ISABELLE, formed Mix Speaker's,Inc with the other ISABELLE band members. Syuri is currently part of Sekiseinikou and Tetora is currently not part of any band but participates in session bands once in a while.
