nine started around the summer of 2004, created by HAL (vocals), Kei (guitar), Kento (guitar), Tairan (bass) and Rin (drums). Shortly after their start, Kei left the band and was quickly replaced by Hiromi.
In August 2004, they started performing; they participated in various events, sharing the stage with several other indie visual kei acts.
In the same month, they participated in the compilation album Aotagari, and two songs of theirs were featured on the album. Unfortunately, these were the only two songs they've ever released.
The band continued to perform and participated in some more events, but in January 2005, only a half-year after their start, they had a sad message for their fans. Although they didn't mention why, nine announced their disbandment. They had another four concerts, and the last one was on February 23rd, in the Takadanobaba Area.
Since then, the five members have continued their music career and have joined other bands, such as juliadoll and Lucy.
