RAYZI debuted as a guitarist in the group ROUAGE in 1996.
Around the time that ROUAGE was disbanding, RAYZI and Kazushi formed the group Stray pig Vanguard. Despite a few CD releases, he quit the group after their concert at Shibuya AX on January 13, 2004.
In 2004, he was the producer and manager of the group hotaru before their disbandment at the end of the same year. At that time, he began his solo project by first releasing a mini-album titled himatubushi. Through 2006, RAYZI found himself busy in the recording studio; from March through November, he recorded and released three demo CDs. After this activity, he went silent again.
By 2010, RAYZI formed Flex Project, a quartet which frequently tours Japan. They currently have not released any music formally.
