Syaranosui

Syaranosui was founded in December 2003 by Rosalie, from England and Sarasa from Japan, who was the main songwriter of the band. They had their live debut in August 2004 in Bristol, England. After several concerts in the UK, they released two mini-albums, in November and December 2004 respectively.

In May 2005, the band released the album Ni Juu Rasen, which contained a compilation of their two mini-albums plus some brand new tracks. While things seemed to be looking up for the band, it was announced that Rosalie would leave the band. Sasara started to look for new musicians and ended up creating a full line up for the band: MOT as bassist and You and Tak (Calmando Qual/Twisted Clock) as guitarists.

The first release of the new line-up was the single Zanka in February 2006 and they began to hold live performances once again.

In May of the same year, Zanka and four other tracks were featured on an omnibus album published by the German magazine ASTAN. Other Japanese artists from the industrial or gothic scene were also featured on this album. Syaranosui fell quiet through the summer, but by winter, change came to the band when MOT left.

Months later, in February 2007, their first mini-album Kaikon to shitsui no hate ni came out. The last release before the band’s hiatus was a Japanese omnibus called Darkest Labyrinth, which was limited to 1,000 copies. The album was published by the label Cure, and featured six unreleased tracks plus many others.

Although it has been a few years since Syaranosui's hiatus, fans hope to see a return to activities some time in the future from this promising band.
