die!!die!!color!!! was created in 2001 by the members Anna, Takenaka, Akitsu and Shige666. The band began to perform live in Tokyo that same year, but their main activity began in 2002 with the joining of Arai as a guitarist. After that, the band recorded a couple demo-tapes.
In January 2003, Akitsu left the band, with Arai following suit at the end of the year. However, they were quickly replaced by Shinvo in November. With this new line-up, die!!die!!color!!! took part in numerous compilations before releasing their single MIDI COMMUNICATION SOUND INTERFACE in 2008.
In December 2009, die!!die!!color!!! released their first mini-album PHOTONOISE, followed by NEXT WIRED, two months later.
In July 2010, the band will attend Japan Expo in Paris to play a showcase.
