In September 2004, a few friends formed a session band called L for a concert. Instead of playing in this formation only once, the four men decided to continue the band. About a month later, they appeared on stage under the name GLAMOROUS HONEY, playing their first concert as a 'real' band in Tokyo.

In the beginning, the line-up consisted of Yuki (former Elldorado) on vocals, K (formerNEW SODMY) on guitar, You (also former NEW SODMY) on bass, and Takeomi on drums. In January 2005, HICO joined the band as the second guitarist. About half a year later they released their first maxi-single, Lost Child, and their second one, Brilliant honey, followed only a few months later.

HICO and YOU left the band in March 2006. Only a few months later, Morikawa Yasuhiro joined as the band's new bassist and they released another single shortly after. The following year was a busy one for the band, kicking off 2007 with appearances at a series of live events, and continued their live activity through the fall after the release of two new singles, Suikyou and Semiuta.

Throughout spring 2008, the band held several performances. By summer, they saw the release of the album NO PAIN NO LOVE. Over the next two years, GLAMOROUS HONEY did not have any releases, but did play throughout Japan. However, in March 2010, Akatsuka Takeomi left the band. With only three members, GLAMOROUS HONEY took a hiatus and did not schedule any lives through the remainder of 2010.

At this time, GLAMOROUS HONEY has not announced any activity for the upcoming year.
