The young Shinohara Tomoe started her music career with the release of her very first single called Chime in 1995, which was the first of many releases.
The following five years were almost like a dream all young girls dreamt of: regularly releasing singles and albums, several contracts for commercials, hostess for TV shows and her first roles in various television series. She also sang for several anime series, for example the song Ultra Relax which was used as the opening theme of "Kodomo no Omocha." With this contribution, she also gained quite some recognition overseas.
In 2001, she released the single I WANNA SAY TO..., which was to be her last for a while because she decided to start focusing on her acting career instead. Until 2005, she acted in various doramas, movies, tv series and theatre productions.
In 2005, Shinohara Tomoe became active in the music scene again and had her come-back with the single ★AsoFEVER★ in October. The title track was used for the anime "Konjiki no Gash Bell!!" In December she decided to perform abroad and had a concert in Paris. She returned there in March 2006, together with DJ KAGAMI to have another small live show.
Since then, she has mostly focused on her acting career. In the summer of 2010, she released the best-of album Super Model 15th Anniversary Edition, which is a limited release only available until June 2011.
Whether the multi-talented Shinohara Tomoe will return to her music career or not, remains a mystery for the time being.
