∀NTI FEMINISM began with their first live on November 1, 1991 at Meguro Live Station which was a sold out show. The first and original line up was ex-Kamaitachi’s Kiyoshi on vocals, ex-AIDS Hiroshi on drums, and three members, guitarists JILL and TEPPEI, and bassist KO・・ were ex- Alligator . The band started quite well at a sold out concert at Meguro Live Station, but they didn't stay together for long. Less than a year had passed and ∀NTI FEMINISM with the original line-up played their last live at a promotional concert for the omnibus album Gimmick. TAPPEI and KO・・ have most likely left the music scene, JILL seems to have joined Anarchist Records (see below), and Hiroshi joined CASCADE, where he stayed until 2002 or so.

Kiyoshi renamed himself KENZI and founded Sister's no Future together with the famous Dynamite Tommy before starting The Dead Pop Stars. In addition, he founded his own label, Anarchist Records, and as if that wasn’t enough, KENZI revived ∀NTI FEMINISM with the help of Takayuki (The Piass), KISAKI (ex-MIRAGE), and K-suke (ex-Vasalla) in August of 1998.

They played some lives before starting their own event, comparable to The Piass' kantou shuukai, called bakuretsu toshi, Burst City in English, where several visual-kei indie bands played with them. At the third bakuretsu toshi event, the band sold their first demotape Japanese NO. Since this release, the band members started to change much more frequently. With the frequently changing line-up, it came to be that mostly unknown musicians like ARATA (ex- SKULL, k@mikaze) or HARUKI (ex- orivia) had the opportunity to play in this already then very popular project.

Many of the band's session members came either from Anarchist Records or Matina bands. ∀NTI FEMINISM, being more popular in north and west of Japan, profited from being friends with KISAKI. KISAKI’s Matina label’s omnibus CDs, like the Matina Prelude, promoted ∀NTI FEMINISM in the eastern part of Japan and ∀NTI FEMINISM probably helped some northern indie bands like ArcAdiA to get signed with Matina.

Despite having a large number of fans, the band's releases, especially the videos, had only a small number of copies such as their first video, SSSS, released on May 05, 2002 and was limited to only 200 copies. In September of 2003, the band stopped their bakuretsu toshi events for an unknown reason. After five demotapes and several live only distributions, they released their first album, Kyohan sabetsu hinichijouteki in December of the same year. However, the band revived their events in the end of 2004, this time as bakuretsu zetsubou toshi with ∀NTI FEMINISM as the only band playing.

In late 2004, ∀NTI FEMINISM decided to do their first coupling tour with Deadly Sanctuary, an indies band consisting of a vocalist and guitarist both of whom has been support members for ∀NTI FEMINISM at times. Together, they released a CD called Emperor and went on a coupling tour together. They spent the rest of 2004 and all of 2005 just touring and performing at various venues across Japan. The band kept performing into 2006 until they had their first live cancellation due to KENZI being in poor health. In April 2006, two lives were canceled and on their April 12th live, the band performed without a vocalist.

After being together for so many years, the band decided to explore new shores and decided on a two-man tour, together with Hagakure, in Europe at the beginning of 2007. Seeing that Hagakure is almost the complete opposite to ∀NTI FEMINISM, it was the friendship between several members of both groups that led to the decision. Though it is hard to understand for some fans, it seems to be quite normal for ∀NTI FEMINISM to play with pop-rock bands, especially when considering some bakuretsu-events, where bands like Cuartet or even Milphinne were invited.

This response prompted ∀NTI FEMINISM to return once more over the summer months, to the delight of their European fans. Their American fans had to wait only a few months until the group announced that they will be visiting the States soon as well, performing four shows alongside Hagakure once again. Not even a week after their US tour, the band did an event, The same belief -Rose and Fluorescence light, alongside Versailles. The next year, the band was supposed to return to the US for a huge show with various other bands called Clash of Commercialism, however it was later canceled, disappointing many fans.

The band just went right back into their normal routine of lives, but started doing more and more one-man lives and events. In June of 2008, ∀NTI FEMINISM released a best-of album, Kyousouroku featuring twenty-seven tracks and later in November they released a new DVD, Manatsu no kichigai. So far in 2009, they have been doing their usual live events, but hopefully they will announce something new for this year.
