Aural Vampire's debut album Vampire Ecstasy was released in 2004, followed in 2005 by the online only release Death Folder, which containsed three songs and the Flash animation Economical Animal Superstars. In order to reach fans of dark music all over the world, it was available as free download on their website.

In February 2007, Aural Vampire embarked on their first international tour through The Netherlands and Germany, where they performed together with Sins of the Flesh and The Pussybats and also played three one-man shows. In May, they returned to Germany and France with the artists of Tokyo Decadance and in August they were signed by the Japanese major label Avex. September saw them once again in Germany where they performed at the RAVEMAN and DJ Sisen spun electro tunes as part of Tokyo Dance Night. In the same month, Tokyo Dance Night also took them to The Netherlands and Finland and at the end of the year they released three self-titled EPs, Aural Vampire I, Aural Vampire II and Aural Vampire III, on i-Tunes.

In March 2008, Aural Vampire played their first concert in the US as part of Club AM at Anime Matsuri 2008 in Houston, Texas, and EXO-CHIKA contributed guest vocals to a track on BLOOD's fifth album, THE REAPER BEHIND ME, which was released in May.

February 2009 saw them return to the US to perform at another anime convention, Katsucon 15, in Arlington, Virginia. In April they traveled to Australia for a number of live dates with GPKISM and DJ SiSeN, and at the end of July they played at the AnimagiC Anime Convention in Bonn, Germany. In September, back in Japan, EXO-CHIKA participated in an event hosted by the gothic lolita brand Atelier Pierrot at the department store Laforet in Harajuku and in October Aural Vampire took to the stage as one of the opening acts of the two day long V-Rock Festival. In November, they were on the road again and performed at the Convencion de Juegos de Mesa y Comics (Gaming & Comic Book Convention) in Monterrey, Mexico.

Aural Vampires first major album, ZOLTANK, was released on 5th May 2010. The band also returned to the USA. In April they performed at the 4th Anime Matsuri in Houston, Texas, and in May at the Anime Central anime and manga convention in Rosemont, Illinois, and in Honolulu, Hawaii. July saw them travel to South America, where they performed at the AnimeFriends events in Brazil and Argentina. Moreover, RAVEMAN contributed a remix to a single Kizu Darake No Maria by URBANGARDE, which was released in the same month. In November they accompanied the Canadian electro band The Birthday Massacre and the American rock band Black Veil Brides on their joint US tour, which took them to 21 cities in 15 states.

In 2011, they stepped up their activities even more. In May, they delighted their European fans with a performance at the Anime 2011, Children of the Night convention in The Netherlands. In July, they were voted "Best Band 2011" by Japan Expo, France's largest convention for Japanese pop culture. In September, they participated in the Music DNA Tokyo event at Shibuya O-East, which featured 50 different artists and was transmitted live on the internet. On 29th October, they played two shows in one evening: one at the Trick or Treat Presents Halloween Party 2011 at Shibuya O-East and the other at the HALLOWEEN PARTY 2011 at the buffet restaurant SPACE SHOWER TV THE DINER. November saw them return to Europe, where they performed at Japan Expo Belgium, and later that month they sponsored an Event at Shibuya WOMB. In December, they released a new seven track EP entitled Kerguelen Vortex, performed at an event sponsored by BESPA KUMAMERO and participated in the multi band event Shinjuku Loft Presents BorderLine Syndrome 2.

February 2012 saw the busy duo perform at the Starwave Fest Vol.4, with more lives following in March. They also contributed the theme music to the TV show "BIG BUG HUNTER" on the French TV channel Nolife, which specialises in programmes about Japanese pop culture. Moreover, RAVEMAN started the solo project FUTON DISCO and in April released an album called LIVING BED together with the industrial band CARRE. A remix of Aural Vampire's song Antenna Phenomenon by the Bulgarian dubstep artist BALKANSKY was included in DJ TECHNORCH's MURDER CHANNEL MIX CD Vol.1 and another MURDER CHANNEL CD, ReMix Wars Vol.1, which were released in August and October respectively. In the same month, Aural Vampire also released a new single, Soloween. As the name suggests, it had a Halloween theme and the band duly played a concert on 31st October at CLUB ASIA in Shibuya. In November, their cover of Gimme A Break was released on the HONDALADY tribute album 10 x 10.

The year 2013 begann with a number of DJ appearances for RAVEMAN, but Aural Vampire also continued to play live concerts. In March they performed at Kuroi Akihabara Vol.24 at Koenji HIGH, in April they traveled to Toulon, France, where they played at the Mang'Azur Japanese culture festival and in June they performed at the Tokyo Eyepatch Alice Syndrome festival in Osaka.
