Although his work in Daisuke to kuro no injatachi was short lived, his career in the visual kei world was not. Starting as drummer of Le'cheri, Daisuke worked his way up to fame, first through drumming for Fatima, than singing for kagerou and the studs.
After the disbandment of the studs, it did not take Daisuke long to pick back up where he'd left off. In the time that he performed under the name Daisuke to kuro no injatachi. His project began April 6, 2010, which was the day of his first live. Over the next few months, Daisuke's activity was quieter until June when he released his first single honrou and held his second live, koukotsu ha ame to tomo ni..., on June 11 at Shibuya O-EAST.
On July 15, just six days before the release of his second single Iya, Daisuke passed away in his sleep. The news rocked the visual kei fandom worldwide, and it was soon decided that a memorial book would be put out in Daisuke's honor, as well as a memorial article in CURE.
On April 20, 2011, fans of Daisuke around the world finally received his first album,Shikkoku no hikari. While some songs are sung by Daisuke, others are not, instead performed by other visual kei artists as the album was completed posthumous to see his hard work come to fruition. Friends from cross the visual kei spectrum came together to undertake this project as support musicians, from his previous band members to members of MUCC, MERRY, 12012, boogieman, D'espairsRay and many others.
The orders for Daisuke's memorial book remains open for customers residing in Japan until July 14, 2011. The day after, on the one year anniversary of his passing, there will be a concert being held in his memory at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST, with performing artists including MERRY, MUCC, 12012, girugamesh and others.
While Daisuke is no longer with us, fans can continue to keep him in their hearts through the heartfelt music he had written over the years; his talent will not be forgotten.
