In December 2011, after having worked as a solo-artist since 2002, Közi decided to start a new band called ZIZ with his long-term support members, guitarist Jiro (Bioactive), bassist Sugiya (Moi dix Mois) and drummer CHARGEEEEE... (OMEGA DRIPP ), as well as keyboardist Yugami (YUGAMIHAKASE).
They played their first gig, Salon du Détester #1, on 29th May 2012 and released their first album, GIFT, on the same day. Over the summer they held a coupling tour with PLASTICZOOMS and MONICA URANGLASS, as well as various other concerts including Tokyo Dark Castle～Daylight Nightmare Vol.3 with VELVET EDEN, Calmando Qual and The Candy Spooky Theater and †OMEGA DRIPP presents†GLAMOUROUS BOOGIE NIGHT vol.11, which featured a session band that included Kaya, HIZAKI and MASASHI of Versailles and Ken Morioka (ex-SOFT BALLET). In September and November, they joined Mana and his project Moi dix Mois for Deep Sanctuary III, two coupling concerts that included a session with fellow MALICE MIZER member Yu~ki. At the end of November, the young band travelled to Europe together with lloy and SPEECIES. Their -HUMAN PLANTS ARE ECCENTRIC DISCHARGE- coupling tour kicked off on 23rd November in Budapest, Hungary, and saw them move on to Germany, where they performed amongst others at Jap-Ro 2012, and Belgium and France, where they appeared at the 5th anniversary party of Râmen Events. On 28th December, Ken Morioka joined them for Salon du Détester #2 at Shinjuku Loft and on the same day they released a collaboration CD called Salon du Détester together.
More live dates are taking place in 2013, including at Koenji High in February and a sponsored event with Art Cube and The Candy Spooky Theater at Takadanobaba Area in April.
