My Dragon

In comparison to their seriousness in Kiryu, the members adopt more adventurous names while in My Dragon. Kurosaki Mahiro calls himself Dandy Maro; Kujou Takemasa appears as Beauty Tama; Sakai Mitsuki is referred to as Charity Miki; Isshiki Hiyori is Panty Hiwai and Tokai Junji performs as Pretty JuJu. The members sport wild costumes as well as humorous personalities--purely for comedic relief.

The exact date of My Dragon's formation in 2009 is unknown, but the group’s first release was the live-distributed single Chaos -Mohaya, Imi Fumei- on December 7, 2009. In March 2010, My Dragon followed up with another single, Otoko to Onna no Tactics, which was distributed at their live at Shibuya O-WEST. However, it wasn't until February 2011 that My Dragon finally debuted with a single. Titled Nijigen Complex, it was released in three types. Dance version aside, the PV for Nijigen Complex is what helped give My Dragon a reputation for being pretty weird. Most memorable is Dandy Maro’s bee costume (similar to a Western Halloween costume), which has a golden water facet attached to the under portion of his skirt that he enjoys flaunting.

My Dragon usually focuses on live performances, especially as the opening act for Kiryu’s lives. Over the years, the members have also played with a number of other bands including Dog inThe PWO, Royz, R-Shitei, DuelJewel, HERO and v [NEU].

My Dragon released another live distributed single, Hito Natsu no Aventure, on June 2, 2013. In October, they will appear on the second day of Bands Shock REVOLUTION ～Visual Matsuri 2013～, a two day festival held in Osaka.

My Dragon is drastically different to parent-group Kiryu--eccentric in their own way, the members have the courage to experiment. Such a difference may give fans a reason to further appreciate the seriousness of Kiryu.
