V.I.P

V.I.P is the solo work of Hiroaki Nakashima, who is also the vocalist and composer for the Japanese rock duo I-ai-.

V.I.P stands for "Vocalist I-ai- Project" and you can expect anything and everything in terms of his music since Hiroaki is not restrained to a typical genre. V.I.P wants to challenge himself in composing music different from I-ai-, but with a similar feeling.

V.I.P was created in May 2014 and his first two concerts were held in Sweden in September the same year, together with the making of V.I.P’s first PV WE ARE ONE.

In March 2015, it was time for V.I.P to debut in Tokyo. He did so at Shibuya Encore with an acoustic live showcase together with guest artists. The show was also streamed live via USTREAM worldwide.

With a wish to connect with people all over the world, V.I.P has so far used Japanese, English, Greek, French and Italian in his four digital single releases: WE ARE ONE, SOMA, Perfect LOVE ~mon Amour~ and DIVA.
