Making it to the top of the Oricon Charts in Japan, this is another DBSK release to catch your attention.
Dong Bang Shin Ki is back with yet another Japanese release, Lovin' You. Being their 12th single release, they continue to show their ability in performing different styles.
The title song for the single, Lovin' You, begins with one of their most catchy chorus melodies. The steady rhythm and the light but definite tune is then followed by Hero's first line of the song. The meaning of the lyrics can be understood simply by the feeling that the minor key creates. Each member shows their much more sensitive and gentle singing with this ballad, which contrasts a lot from their earlier releases which are more powerful.
Almost without a break the second track Gosenshi takes off. With lighter lyrics than Lovin' You, the music becomes a lot more upbeat compared to the previous track. During this song, Dong Bang Shin Ki displays more of their active side with the singing - you can almost imagine each member clicking their fingers while performing the song. When listening to this track, it can almost be assured that the listener will move along with the very strong beat that this whole song delivers.
Although the single only has two tracks, which are completely opposite in style, Dong Bang Shin Ki are easily about to convince all of their listeners that both styles suit the group.
This release has two editions, Type-A which comes with a DVD of their Lovin' You MV, while Type-B will offer you an extra track on the CD with a 12-page booklet.
Whether or not you are a fan of Dong Bang Shin Ki, if you listen to Lovin' You then you may just understand why this single was at the top of Oricon Chart in Japan right after it was released.
