Born in 1984, the Korean singer Mink (Made In Korea) released her 4th japanese single called Innocent Blue ~Chi hate umi tsukiru made~ on the 8th of August 2007. Also included in the movie Aoki Ookami's OST, this single will contain 6 songs: 3 tracks and 3 instrumentals.

The principal song, Innocent Blue, is a slow song that enables us to appreciate Mink's vocals skills. The introduction is subtle and discreet as we can only hear the singer's voice slightly followed by a light instrumental background. Then it's the piano and violins that show off Mink's husky voice. Totally in English, the chorus brings us into another world. Thanks to the musical background we can easily imagine an everlasting and unreachable blue sea. At the end of the song, her voice becomes so strong, it gives us goosebumps. Even if we don't talk a lot about this Korean singer, whose career is essentially in Japan, it would be unthinkable to underestimate her talent.

The second track, Aoki Ookami, begins with some Indian sounds and comes along with a piano, the main instrument for the rest of the song. The melody is sweet and captivating. Few effects, like the drums, are added in the musical background which give the song its uncanny atmosphere. This song will sweep you off your feet; Very disturbing at first, but so addictive. What more can we ask for? It seems that Mink's voice transports us to a place "far far away".

Finally the third and last song, BLESSING OF LOVE, is another captivating ballad that can't be put aside. Again, completely in English, BLESSING OF LOVE's rhythm comes with the sound of the thunder. This lets us imagine unknown scenery where Mink's voice would be the key. Her smooth and husky voice added to the piano combined with the slight drum as well as the special effects gives us a heart-warming feeling simply from hearing it. Mink's voice is doing all the work and doesn't cease amazing us. Moreover BLESSING OF LOVE seems even more powerful when the violins start. How can we not appreciate it?

This is an excellent single both musically and atmosphere wise. In the end, you will be in a daze for a moment, but be careful; coming back to earth might be a little harsh.
