Sakamoto Ryuichi is a multi-talented performer, as well as being a famous musician and composer. He has also worked both as an actor and producer. He is probably most familiar to fans of Japanese music as the keyboardist of the legendary techno-trio The Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO). His music cannot possibly be categorized under one genre, as he has composed and performed many different styles of music ranging from classical styled movie soundtracks to experimental electro-pop to glitch electronic, which is experimental electronic music with the addition of noise music.
