Folder5 is a girls group originating from the Okinawa Actor School with vocals and dance-moves similar to those of MAX or SPEED. They are a spin-off from the pop-funk group Folder, but instead of following the same style of music, they've leaned more towards Euro beat in their first year and pop in their second. Signed to Avex, the girls gained most of their popularity by the single Believe, which was used as an opening theme of the anime ONE PIECE.

Though they never managed to have multiple big hits in the charts, they had a small following in the Jpop scene before disbanding without giving an official announcement in 2002. Since then, some of the members have been working on a solo career.
