The Black Skirts, or Korean Gumjungchima, is a solo project of ex-,B>Castel Prayon member Jo Hyu-il, also known as Holiday Jo. The debut album 201 was out in 2008 and was surprisingly successful. The group is considered to be one of the most prominent indie rock groups in Korea and one of those, who shepherded indie rock to a more mainstream audience.
