The music of pop-rock quartet AciD FLavoR included both mellow and aggressive tracks, but all songs had a strong focus on the melody. Their main songwriter and guitarist Ryo had been influenced by progressive rock of the 70s, new romantic of the 80s, industrial and grunge rock from the 90's and so on. He dubbed their music "new mixture rock resulting from the essence of the past."
During their ten years of existence, the band gained recognition with contributions to game soundtracks. Next to the music scene in Japan, the group from Saitama also had their eye firmly fixed on the European continent where they occasionally performed since 2008. Unfortunately, the band called it quits in 2010.
