Susumu Yokota was a prolific electronic music composer from Japan. He enjoyed international success and made a strong name for himself domestically as well.
His style was something that changed rapidly from album to album, incorporating elements from several genres including, but not limited to, techno, dance, classical, muzak, jazz and rock. Outside of his own career, he was also known for remixing tracks by artists such as Dir en grey and The Cinematic Orchestra, as well as collaborations with rock musicians like Rothko.
