Christine 23 Onna is one of the side-projects of the noise artist Maso Yamazaki (more widely known as Masonna), which he created with the guitarist Fusao Toda from the band Angel'in Heavy Syrup.
They describe themselves as a "space mondo psychedelic" band. Their music is a mix between Fusao’s psychedelic guitar riffs and Yamazaki’s piercing and "spacial" electronic sounds, very different from the music made by Masonna in his solo work or indeed Fusao's music with Angel'in Heavy Syrup.
