Hokkaido-based oshare kei band MELLO currently consists of vocalist Amonn, guitarist Shun and bassist Sato. Their music is an intriguing mixture of northern mystique and originality, traditional visual kei and jazzy pop.
The band's line-up has changed with the years, but they have not yet found a new drummer. At the beginning of their career, the members' outfits were quite elaborate, but since their major debut their style has taken a more simplistic direction.
