H ZETT M, or Hiizumi Masayuki, used to play with artists such as Tokyo Jihen and PE'Z. He is a well-known pianist who's famous for his daring playfulness with music as well as with visual looks. After playing for almost 10 years in ”samurai jazz” band PE'Z, it was time for the man to spread his own wings by releasing a solo album. H ZETT M has already released two jazz-influenced albums: the experimental 5+2=11 in 2007, and the more controlled Pianohead in 2008.
