Founded in 2007, the oshare kei duo nomura(star) consisted of the guitarist duo Yukichi Kawano and Kazuhi Kawamura; the former also took care of the vocals. Their good chemistry was due to years of previous collaboration, since both musicians used to play with fiore, which had ceased their activities in the same year.
nomura(star) begun their career with a blast by releasing both a demo recording of 5 tracks and an original DVD single. Besides this, the promising duo went to hiatus in 2008, and so far it looks like they are going to stay that way. Yukichi Kawano (now known as Ginta) has founded a new band called Merty, in which MISAKI, another former fiore member (formerly known as Shin) also plays.
