Shanti is an accomplished artist: she is a singer, songwriter and occasionally a painter. She has composed and provided vocals for advertisement jingles for brands such as UNIQLO, TOYOTA, Shiseido, evian and even Coca-Cola. Before starting her career as a solo artist, she also composed songs for other artists.
Shanti's music is described as nu-jazz as she certainly explores this genre, but she also offers a light pop and folk sound. The lyrics, often sung in perfect English, are carried by the soft, ethereal and mature voice of the artist.
