Magistina Saga

Magistina Saga, whose name means “a fairy tale of magic and truth”, is a visual kei band hailing from Osaka and signed to the indie label Starwave Records. One of the most unusual aspects of the band is that they have a female vocalist--a rarity on the visual kei scene, although Iori does not play up her femininity too much in her costumes, usually opting for a somewhat androgynous look.

Influenced by everything from complex human experiences to anime and video game music, Magistina Saga’s songs combine a dramatic, gothic atmosphere with catchy, synth-infused hard rock and metal, while Iori’s sweet, clear vocals ride smoothly over the chaos.
