Yousei Teikoku

Yousei Teikoku ("The Fairy Empire") was founded on the idea that humanity's dwindling belief in fairies must be reversed in order to bring back the purity in people's hearts.

Initially a lighter, airier mixture of techno, pop, and classical music, the band has since taken on a darker tone. Recent years have seen them address subjects such as death and loneliness in a more militaristic style than before, but the extreme variety of compositions on display has remained constant.

Though the fascist imagery may be intimidating to some, Yousei Teikoku's unique style allows for some of the most genre-blending gothic music in the East.
