Enka singer Takeshima Hiroshi started his career in 2002 under Tokuma Japan Communications. In 2015, the singer signed with TEICHIKU Entertainment, and the year after he celebrated his 15th anniversary. Several of his single releases have reached the top 10 of Oricon's weekly enka charts.
Takeshima's songs are mostly of the emotional variety, and his repertoire features many sentimental ballads.
