Hailing from Iwate, Osawa Momoko debuted with her first single, Jouenbushi, under KING RECORDS in 1998. In 2003 she signed to Tokuma Japan Communications and released her official debut single, Shijifukujin.
Within the genre of enka and kayokyoku, Osawa Momoko is known as a singer-songwriter, but she writes her lyrics and music under the pen name Nakamura Tsubaki.
