Banzoin Hakka

Banzoin Hakka is a member of TEMPUS, the first English-speaking unit of Japanese VTuber agency hololive Production’s male branch HOLOSTARS. He debuted in January 2023 as part of “TEMPUS Vanguard”, the second half of TEMPUS’s members.

He is an exorcist hailing from the fictional land of Xenokuni who wields two spears and has inherited Karasutengu data that gives him raven-like features and “otherworldly leaping ability and endurance”.

Like most HOLOSTARS VTubers, Hakka not only creates original music and covers songs by other artists, but he also holds regular live streams. His content as a streamer includes gaming, karaoke, chatting with fans in both English and his native Spanish, cooking and baking, and other variety-style content.

While he is a passionate fan of Vocaloid and anime music, Hakka is also one of the few music-focused talents within hololive Production to favor heavier genres, including visual kei, nu-metal and metalcore. He has a distinctive raspy singing voice and can perform both clean and harsh vocals.

Hakka’s oshi mark is the “increase brightness” emoji, reflecting his desire to brighten the lives of his fans with his content. His fans are called “Hakkitos” and depicted as purple birds.
