S was an unconventional, anything-but-standard visual band. Throughout their career they proved that they were nothing more than five children wanting to make music, and had fun while doing so. They were powered by anime, manga, and video games and prone to re-enacting various scenes on the spot (such as "Dragonball Z", among others). Such displays were very far from the dark and tortured spirit of visual kei, yet S went on and made their own visual style.
