Nanase Aikawa

Rock singer Nanase Aikawa began her career in 1995, under the auspices of producer Tetsuro Oda, who took charge of producing her first four albums. This partnership ended in 2000, but Aikawa continued to work with Oda as well as other notable collaborators, including Hotei Tomoyasu, K.A.Z and PATA.

Aikawa's music has reflected the evolving sound of Japanese pop-rock over the years. Not one to experiment, she has remained a staunch ally of guitar-oriented rock. This was also the case with her 2011 side-project, Rockstar Steady.
