BAISER ('to kiss' in French) once was a very popular visual kei band. It seems that they helped to create the visual kei genre, not only musically but also in terms of the visual kei look.
In general, BAISER sounds like a typical visual kei band, often playing songs that have a dark edge to them, but they also have a good deal of happy-sounding rock songs, with simple, cheerful melodies.
They were around for about ten years and released a lot in those years, but unfortunately most people that are quite new to JRock have never heard of them.
