ATOMIC TORNADO played pure, stylistically European heavy and power metal. Some of their biggest influences were bands like Helloween, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and LOUDNESS. These influences showed in ATOMIC TORNADO's sound, especially the guitar work, but fortunately never totally dominated it.
