GELLONIMO began more than a decade ago as a heavy metal band, but evolved into more of a punk style toward the 'second generation'. Today, GELLONIMO members have done away with the red and green dyed hair, and mohawks and now sport kimono as their stage wardrobe. They have truly developed a visual kei look that suits them. The only thing vocalist Miyabi has kept from the beginning of his career is his white painted face, similar to Demon Kogure (Seikima II).
As an interesting bit of information: Miyabi also runs a visual rock bar’ sharing the same name as his band, in which they perform occasionally. Because the band is mostly the Miyabi's 'hobby' and only perform at special occasions, the other musicians in the band are all support members.
