The Eccentric Opera is usually described as "Japanese techno opera" and this description suits them quite well.

These two classically trained musicians: a vocalist and a keyboard player, create new versions of classical songs, changing them into techno-versions. Songs of Bach, Puccini, Mozart, Schubert and many more famous compositions are re-worked with electronic sounds. The vocals however remain classical, which brings in the operatic aspect and distinguishes them from other bands that either sample or cover classical songs. The lyrics are taken from various well known poems and are in dozens of different languages.
