All-female rock trio
STEREOPONY have announced that they are to disband.
The band will give a final concert, titled
Aki no yonaga wa raibu de norikire vol. 2, on October 6th at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, in which the members will provide an explanation for their disbandment. For now, the members have each left a message to their fans thanking them for their constant support over this years. You can find the complete message on

However, the band has also announced a new project, titled
EVANPONY. The project is formed by
STEREOPONY's three members
AIMI,
NOHANA and
SHIHO, as well as
Evan Taubenfeld, guitarist and producer for Canadian rocker
Avril Lavigne.
EVANPONY will release their debut single,
Just rock with me, on October 24th. It will be available in two versions, both of which will include the title track and the B-side
Namida nante misete yannai by
STEREOPONY. The regular edition will be CD-only, while the limited edition will come with a DVD.
