While the telephones will be going on an indefinite hiatus this year, they've still managed to pack a ton of activity into 2015, including a new album, their first performance on "Music Station" and an appearance at LUNA SEA's LUNATIC FEST.
On November 4th, the day after the band says goodbye at Saitama Super Arena, a new live DVD and a tribute album to the band will be released.
The tribute album, We are DISCO!!!～tribute to the telephones～, will feature 11 tracks. Contributing artists include: VOLA & THE ORIENTAL MACHINE, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, Koji Nakamura, J, James Iha, STRAIGHTENER, dustbox, Fragment,THE BAWDIES, POLYSICS and Yogee New Waves.
The DVD, Budokan DE DISCO!!!～SUPER DISCO Hits 10!!! the telephones 10th Anniversary～ will feature footage of their live of the same name, which was held on May 21st this year. The first press will feature a bonus disc with a 45-minute extended version of Otona no! Tokubetsuhen the telephones ~Kitaurawa no chuushin de DISCO o sakebu!~, a video by the talk show "Otona no" looking back on their ten year career.
